About Kirtan Kriya Mediation

Kirtan Kriya exercise utilizes primal sounds and is meant to be practiced for greater attention, concentration, focus, improved short term memory, and better mood.

The primal sounds consist of Saa Taa Naa Maa.

The sounds are chanted repeatedly and in order (i.e., Saa Taa Naa Maa). They come from the mantra ‘Sat Nam’, which means ‘my true essence’.

Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation™ (ARPF) sponsored studies show that Kirtan Kriya:

  • Improves Cerebral Blood Flow
  • Reverses Memory Loss
  • Enhances Mood and Well-Being
  • Less Stress, Increased Telomerase and Reduced Depression
  • Enhances Psychological and Spiritual Well-being
  • Activates the Whole Brain

The latest ARPF sponsored research done at the University of West Virginia School of Public Health and UCLA School of Medicine shows that Kirtan Kriya practice slows the progression of memory Loss.
